“Event” and “eventuality” are related by their Latin stem. “Eventus” – the outcome, the result – is basically freely evaluated. So the event itself decides whether its course is positive.
Photographers know this: every important moment at an event becomes a photo or you just missed it. Such gaps in the desired images cannot be made up afterwards. The completeness of all events plus surprising, unexpected material makes the photographic result a separate event with a positive outcome. Because: only the pictures remain.
